This is the second consecutive year that poker and poker-related items top the list. According to Lycos, online interest in poker has increased by 316% since last year and generates 308% more searches than the second most popular toy this year, Pokemon.

The top 10 toys on the list are:

  1. Poker
  2. Pokemon
  3. iPod
  4. Neopets
  5. Barbie
  6. Harry Potter
  7. Blackjack
  8. Baccarat
  9. Bratz
  10. Playstation 3

iPod is also making its second consecutive year on the list, while Barbie continues to remain one of the most popular toys after making the list for the seventh consecutive year.

Game consoles dropped in search popularity this year with Nintendo and Xbox dropping out of the top 10. Playstation managed to hang on in the number 10 spot and retain its status as the most popular game console.
