Question of the Week Test Your Poker Skills

No-Limit Hold'em
Pot: $17 Blinds: $1/$2
Question In your six-max game online Player 2, a tight-aggressive opponent, raises to $8. You three-bet to $28. He calls and you take a flop heads-up of
3
7
9
.
What should you do? Correct Answer: Check Your opponent is either losing to you or has you beat and is never folding. When he raises before the flop his range is still fairly wide. When he calls your three-bet we can narrow it down to pocket pairs and similar hands to yours. Not much of this range are you still beating. You are OOP so just check; a continuation bet is rarely going to work.
