Poker pro's book featured in People Magazine

"In the Money," a new poker book written by Antonio Esfandiari in conjunction with the World Poker Tour (WPT), was recently featured in People Magazine's Father's Day Gift Guide. This third book in the WPT series provides readers with a guide on how to become a winning Texas Hold'em cash game player.

The book combines strategy, entertainment and stories that show the poker world how to be a successful player in cash games on the Internet and at land-based casinos.

"I wanted people to actually think while they were reading the book, and apply it to their game," Esfandiari said. "I didn't want to take the approach that most do by designating out starting hand situations. No-Limit cash games require a completely different approach rather than a set in stone strategy."

Along with his strategies, the book also delves into stories about Esfandiari's rise from the cash games in San Francisco to his current place at the top of the poker world.
