The year 2010 will likely always be remembered fondly for Joseph Cheong.
After playing poker since 2007 with few major scores, Cheong won a $300 No-Limit Hold'em preliminary event at the WSOPC Rincon for $17,541.
Four months later, Cheong found himself with a seat at the biggest poker game in the world - the 2010 WSOP Main Event.
Well-known on Full Tilt Poker, Cheong made his first major online score in 2009 when he won a Mini-FTOPS event for $55,000.
Born in South Korea but raised in the U.S., Cheong currently resides in La Mirada, California and plays online poker under the alias subiime. He has a B.S. in Psychology and a Joint B.A. in Math and Economics from UCSD.
