John Racener has excelled at every level of poker he's ever played.
Racener started playing the game when he was in high school and when he was 16 he asked his mother if he could use her credit card to deposit $50 on an online site.
She agreed and within two years Racener had run that $50 up to $30,000 and had a legitimate online bankroll.
Despite his early success in poker, Racener decided to go to college and graduated with an associate of arts degree from Florida Southern.
On Racener's 21st birthday he finally had the chance to experience live poker and he did so by playing the 2006 World Series of Poker Circuit Atlantic City. He placed third and won $103,527 as a result.
The cash was the start of a suburb run on the WSOPC and just one year after placing third in the Atlantic City event, he won it for $379,392.
As of 2010 Racener had over $2 million in combined online and live tournament earnings.
In 2010 Racener made history by making the final table of the WSOP Main Event, fourth in chips with 19 million.
