Jason "JBJaxx" Senti is a former electrical engineer who found he could make much more playing poker for a living.
Born and raised in Grand Forks, North Dakota, Senti attended and graduated from the University of North Dakoka.
After working as an engineer for several years, Senti eventually made the decision to start playing poker professionally. It paid off as Senti started to dominate online cash games and even became an instructor with Phil Galfond's Bluefire Poker.
Senti impressed the poker community at the $10k Heads-Up Championship in 2009 when opponent Erik Seidel was running late.
Senti capped his cards in an effort to keep his Seidel from being blinded off. After 15 minutes Seidel finally showed up and was no doubt thankful.
Despite a very strong cash game, Senti only players a handful of tournaments a year and making the 2010 November Nine was actually first time he'd cashed in the Main Event.
Senti currently lives in St. Louis Park, Minnesota, with his wife.
