With the Aussie Millions, EPT Deauville, and the Borgata Winter Poker Open all wrapping up it was a busy week in the PokerListings News Room.

As always, a few smaller stories failed to get the front page space they deserved.

As a result, we've compiled them below in our weekly Poker News in Brief feature.

This week Eric Baldwin re-signs with UB, Jennifer Harman's ready to Throw Down and a few online poker rooms offer some live satellites.

Baldwin Re-Ups With UB

Team UB pro Eric Baldwin has signed on with UB for another two years.

"Signing again with was a no-brainer," Baldwin said. "I like the direction that the site is headed and I'm really feeling the new, younger Team UB. I'm excited to continue to be a big part of it."

In addition to a WSOP bracelet, Baldwin has more than $4.2 million in live and online tournament earnings and was 2009 CardPlayer Magazine Player of the Year.

Lynch Locks Up Pokeroom Manager Post

Poker pro Eric "Rizen" Lynch has accepted the job as Poker Room Manager with Lock Poker.

In his new role with the online poker site, Lynch will be driving all decisions around the product, promotions and player communication.

"I am personally looking forward not only to the opportunity to continue to work with the outstanding LockPRO team, but also to interact with the Lock players and really explore what we can do to improve on all levels," he said.

"My dream has been to really get involved in the daily operations and have a serious impact on how things are done. I'm excited have the opportunity to bring my unique insight as a professional poker player to the table to help Lock continue to innovate."

Peppermill Reno to Host Jennifer Harman Charity Event

The Peppermill Resort Casino in Reno, NV will host the fifth annual Jennifer Harman Throw Down Celebrity Poker Tournament benefiting the Nevada Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals No-Kill Shelter May 21.

As many as 1,000 are expected to take part in the $200+$30 team event being held in comjuction with the Nevada State Poker Championship and included in the Heartland Poker Tour's fall line-up.

All proceeds will benefit the Nevada SPCA.

"The Nevada SPCA ensures these once abandoned and abused animals are cared for, adopted, or live humanely in its no-kill shelter for the rest of their lives," said Harman. "Everyone who participates is actually saving a life, and that means so much to me."

Further fundraising activities include a silent auction and the annual Throw Down party.

Paddy Power Poker Extends Irish Open Satellites

Paddy Power Poker's €20 re-buy Super Satellites for the Irish Open 2011 will go on.

The site will continue to host the satellites every Monday at 8pm from now until April 18 with each guaranteeing an Irish Open 2011 seat.

Plus, any player who wins a seat on Paddy Power Poker is eligible to take part in the €100,000 Sole Survivor promotion awarding €100,000 to the last Paddy Power Poker qualifier standing in the event.

The Irish Open 2011 takes place in The Burlington Hotel in Dublin from April 21-25.

UB Giving Away Three L.A. Poker Classic Seats

UB is sending three players to the World Poker Tour's L.A. Poker Classic.

The site will host a super satellite Feb. 13 at 5:05 ET awarding the top three players with a $12,000 WPT L.A. Poker Classic prize package.

There will also be a series of low stakes buy-in qualifiers for the super satellite starting as low as $2+.20 and beginning Feb. 6.

The $10k WPT L.A. Poker Classic will go off at Commerce Casino in Los Angeles Feb. 25-Mar. 1.
