Here's another question from one of my 30 dollars SNGs:
7/9 players remain, blinds: 30/60
Folded to me on the button and I made it 180 with A Q
SB calls, BB folds. I had slightly more than 1800 chips, SB had 3000.
Until now the player in SB seemed solid.
Flop: A Q T
He minbets 60 into me (I hate minbets !!!) and I raise to 300, then he reraised to 540, I reraise to 1080, he shoves and I call. He turns K J . Blanks on turn and the river and I'm busted.
The question is could I have played it differently, caz it was too much of a hand to fold. Of course I was beat by AA, QQ, TT and KJ, but besides KJ all the other hands should have reraised preflop. I also could beat many other hands: AT, QT, AK, AJ, K Q , J 9 .
But the thing is if I only called his reraise could have been different? The turn actually was T ( a scary card for both of us) and maybe the action would have cooled a little bit and maybe I would have lost less and still be with chips in tournament. I don't know...
I need some advice please, caz I'm a good winner in 30$ SNGs but this hand is a very tough one for me. |
