A poker Dream Team of Phil Hellmuth, Greg Raymer, Joe Hachem, Scott Fischman, Mark Seif, poker tells expert Joe Navarro and Alex Outhred will host the WSOP Academy's first-ever Main Event Primer this year.

The event will include three days of in-depth seminars, live hand analysis and interactive workshops plus a VIP party at PURE Nightclub and two private tournaments, each awarding a $10,000 seat to the 2007 WSOP Main Event.

The dates are July 3-5 at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, on the eve of poker's biggest event, the World Series of Poker.

"There is simply no better way to prepare for poker's biggest tournament than to learn first-hand from the players who've been there and won it all," says Jeff Goldenberg of Post Oak Productions, the company that produces the WSOP Academy.

"Our Main Event Primer is the jewel of the WSOP Academy season and will give players the confidence and skills they need to take on the massive field at the Main Event and succeed."

The primary focus is giving participants everything they need to go far in the Main Event, with the Academy's pro instructors covering all aspects of No-Limit Texas Hold'em tournament strategy, from playing position and calculating pot odds to the importance of aggression and changing gears.

The cost is $2,199 and space is limited, with tickets expected to sell out well in advance.
