Poker - a game of Skill or Chance……

The on - going battle between The Joker Club versus State Attorney General Office continues...

On one side we have the Joker Club, who, argues that Poker is a game of skill, you need to plan your moves, need to have the skill to bluff your way to winning. Therefore , it should not be made 'illegal', as any bet on games played using cash, which is based on 'chance' is said to be illegal.

The Joker Clubs members are from various spheres… An attorney, who is a ace player of poker and also a publisher of an international gaming magazine, A casino operator in Bahamas.

The opponents are the state Attorneys General office, who state that 'poker in no context, in any realm of imagination be called a game of skill, it pure chance hence any bets taken are Illegal.

Judge Orlando F. Hudson, has the yet to arrive at the decision. The hearing will be held on Thursday, April 7th.
