Players come in droves to Full Tilt, PokerStars.com tournaments

PokerStars.com enjoyed its biggest Sunday Millions event to date last weekend, gathering 6,740 players and $1.3 million in prize money. The turnout created a new record for the company, making the event the biggest weekly poker tournament in the world.

By finishing in first place, player Legato scooped up the largest portion of the tournament's pot, pocketing $132,000. But a six-way deal divided up most of the final table money.

In other poker action, Full Tilt Online Poker Series hosted the first two of its nine-event series this weekend. Despite a lower-than-expected turnout, players competed in a $100,000 guaranteed Pot-Limit Omaha Eight-or-Better tournament and a $500,000 guaranteed No-Limit Texas Hold'em tournament.
