Pacific Poker's latest promotion is just like a rugby match: play, score and win. Except at this game the only potential bruising is to a losing player's ego.

The site's Rugby Comes to Paris promotion offers players the chance to win a trip for two to the ultimate rugby celebration in the City of Light Oct. 13 and a trip for two to rugby festivities in Cardiff Oct. 6. Both trips include flights and accommodation, plus $100 bonuses.

Pacific Poker is gearing the rugby-themed event toward Italian, French and English players.

All customers have to do is accrue 25 points in any of Pacific Poker's ring games to get a free entry to the Rugby Cardiff Freeroll Sept. 24 at 8 p.m. (GMT) - otherwise known as 4 p.m. 888 Time. To get in on the Rugby in Paris Freeroll at 8 p.m. Sept. 30, stockpile 50 points in the ring games.

The qualifying period is already underway. From Sept. 7-16, players can rack up points to win the Cardiff trip while from Sept. 17-26 players can squirrel away the points for the Paris trip.

The poker room will e-mail all qualifying members, who can then register for the freeroll and their shot at winning the ultimate rugby poker prize.
