PKR to send players to APT Macau

PKR is offering at least eight prize packages to send players to the Asian Poker Tour event in Macau taking place in August.

Each prize package is worth $7,700 and includes the buy-in for the Macau main event, plus accommodations and $2,400 in spending money. The packages will be up for grabs during PKR's APT Macau Weekly Final, which will run every Friday at 8 p.m. GMT until Aug. 8.

The weekly finals will have a $150 buy-in, but there are numerous ways for poker players to win their way in as well. There are a wide range of satellite qualifiers taking place daily and starting at as little as $4.25.

PKR is also offering lottery tourneys and last-chance speed qualifiers to get players into the weekly final. Players with PKR Points to spend can also qualify for free in special Premium Freerolls.

"The APT is a great series of events set in the most exotic and luxurious locations in Asia," said Card Room Manage Neil Wright. "There are huge sums of prize money on offer and the Macau leg looks set to continue the prestige of the tour."

The APPT Macau is set to take place Aug. 26-31, and the main event will feature a guaranteed $1.5 million prize pool.

The event, taking place in the StarWorld Hotel and Casino, promises to deliver a fantastic opportunity for PKR players to compete with the best poker players in the world in one of the world's most lavish locations, according to PKR.
