PKR helps players find love
Two of the world's favorite online pastimes include playing poker, and trying to find a soul mate (if even for only a night). It was only a matter of time until someone sought to meld the two pursuits.
PKR.com has teamed up with Lovestruck.com to put together a series of online and face-to-face poker nights for singles. The first of these single nights is set for Thursday Nov. 6 at the Hoxton Pony in London, England.
Entry to this singles-only poker event is free, requiring only advance registration at Lovestruck.com/London. If you want to improve your skills and get some real poker experience under your belt before heading out, sign up to PKR.com and get yourself dealt in.

The live event will be run by experienced dealers who will keep the games running and help out anyone with any questions about the game. Regardless of your poker aptitude, or lack thereof, everyone is welcome to join and have a blast, possibly even finding love on a final table.
Post-Nov. 6, players can continue to improve their poker, and flirting, chops online in the PKR.com weekly singles poker nights. The "Lovestruck Evenings" kick off on Nov. 17 at 8 p.m. with a free-to-enter tournament, followed by three additional low-buy-in events. Players will have to be registered on both PKR (click here to register now) and Lovestruck to play.
PKR.com, a revolutionary poker Web site, uses real-time 3-D graphics to bring animated characters and an unprecedented level of realism to the game. Since its launch PKR has seen 2 million players register, making it one of the top online poker rooms in the world. As for love, three known weddings have resulted from the active online community at PKR.com already. Thanks to the partnership with Lovestruck, it won't be long until we see the fourth.
