With 1,130 entries, the recent APT pro bounty tournament sets the bar for the largest tournament field ever assembled on the PKR network.

Headlining the "Poker Pack" were APT pros J.C. Tran, Chino Rheem, Nam Le and Quinn Do. Players lucky enough to eliminate one of the pros got awarded a free shot at a $5k package for the APT Manila event.

The four pros to play in this event had their own $500 last-longer bet, eventually won by David "Chino" Rheem for his 486th-place finish.

Coming in second was J.C. Tran in 524th place, just a few spots ahead of Quinn Do in 564th. The first pro out was Nam Le; he exited in 839th after being crippled running his two pair into a set.

After getting tossed from the tournament, some of the pros could be found slugging it out on the site. For example, an epic heads-up battle featured Nam Le on a $1 sit-and-go table.

"We've never seen a response to a tournament like it, and it shows just how much respect PKR's audience has for these four players," remarked Simon Prodger, PKR marketing director. "It's been an honor to host them on the site and we look forward to sending a strong PKR team to team up with them again at the APT Manila."

Satellites to the APT Manila are running 24/7 at PKR. Players may qualify for as little as $2.56. Anyone who doesn't already have a PKR account should check out the PokerListings review of the 3-D online poker room for a $250 sign-up bonus.
