WSOP Photo of the Day: Shot Through the Heart

Today's Photo of the Day was shot by the intrepid BJ Nemeth, aka "The Hardest Working Man in Poker". BJ truly is the poker reporter's poker reporter and this year we're lucky enough to have him working for PokerListings.com.

To set the scene for the photo de jour, McLean Karr was all-in against Sam Stein at the final table of the $10,000 Pot-Limit Hold'em final table. Eight players remained with almost $600,000 on the line for first, not to mention the WSOP bracelet.

Karr has already won a WPT major, a WPT High Roller event and an EPT High Roller event, but this is by far the closest he's come to a win at the World Series of Poker.

The money went in before the flop with Karr's A-J racing Stein's pocket fours. A jack on the flop left Stein drawing to just two outs. He missed on the turn but if you look at the photo and use all your powers of deduction, we're pretty sure you can tell us what the river card was.
