The new season of Full Tilt Poker's Million Dollar Cash Game will feature one of the biggest pots in poker history. Phil Ivey and Patrik Antonius clash, and over $800,000 ends up in the middle.

Million Dollar Cash Game II won't go on the air until January 2008, but there is already a lot of talk about the massive pot Ivey and Antonius battled over.

Michael Craig witnessed the hand, and writes about it in his blog at Full Tilt Poker:

"Phil Ivey and Patrik Antonius, mano a mano. The board on the turn was Ac-As-Jc-5d. Ivey bet $100,000 and Patrik called. The river was the queen of hearts."

The total pot size at this point was over $300,000, and Craig describes how Ivey went into the tank for several minutes before finally betting $250,000.

Craig continues:

"Patrik is looking at his chips, putting aside the $250,000, and holding his finger to his lips (...) After a couple minutes, he quietly said, 'I call.'"

Ivey showed pocket jacks and took home the $807,400 pot with a full house.

Antonius mucked his hand, but he has revealed that he was holding A-T. The player from Finland has also said that it was one of the most interesting hands he has ever played.

Note: Million Dollar Cash Game II will air on Sky Sports, and is scheduled for January 2008.
