Phil Hellmuth will again be offering a weekend crash-course to help poker players take their game to the next level this summer. The third edition of Camp Hellmuth will run immediately following the World Series of Poker (WSOP) from August 11-13 at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas and will include poker instruction, tournaments, workshops, and entertainment.
This "Ultimate Weekend of Poker," led by nine-time WSOP Champion Hellmuth, promises to improve the poker skills of all attendees, whether they're seasoned poker players or novices to the game.
"The third Camp Hellmuth promises to be the best one yet with several surprises and special guests," said Camp Hellmuth managing director Jeff Goldenberg.
The weekend will feature many of the game's top Freddy Deeb, and former FBI agent Joe Navarro.
Seminar topics this year are "Live Hand Analysis," "Beating Online Sit-N-Go's," "Winning No-Limit Hold'em Tournaments," "Becoming a More Aggressive Player," and "Decoding Non-Verbals Like a Pro - The Tells of Poker."
Entry into the camp also includes buy-ins to two Camp Hellmuth No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournaments. The winner of the second tournament will receive a trip to the Ultimate Poker Classic in Aruba, a World Poker Tour (WPT) sanctioned event.
Poker pros will also play during the tournament but for educational purposes only. They'll offer tips, advice, and even expose their hands to explain how they played them. Camp participants can win "Bounty Hunter Prizes" for knocking a pro out of the tournament.
