Phil Hellmuth challenges Scandinavians

Players from Scandinavia have taken the poker world by storm in recent years. Now they get the chance test their skills against one of the true legends of the game - Phil Hellmuth. On his way to the European Poker Tour (EPT) final in Monte Carlo, Hellmuth will make a stop in Stockholm, Sweden, and take on all challengers.

On Wednesday, Phil Hellmuth will visit a poker club in Stockholm called Sviten. A head-to-head qualifying tournament will be held, and two lucky winners will get the chance to play against Hellmuth.

The "Poker Brat" will also make an appearance at the Nordic Masters of Poker, a tournament held at Sweden's government-run casino, Casino Cosmopol, from March 19 to 25.

Come Saturday, Hellmuth will return to Sviten, but this time he will be looking for high-stakes cash games. Anyone with enough money will be able to sit down with the 1989 World Champion of Poker.

One player hoping to play against Hellmuth is the Swedish poker pro Martin Cedercrantz, who won the $1,000 Bellagio Cup II in July 2006.

"I hope there will be a place for me. If he wants to dance I will be there," said Cedercrantz in an interview with the Swedish newspaper Expressen.
