Phil Gordon wins million dollar Full Tilt event
We knew he could call the shots, and now we know he can still make them, too, as former "Celebrity Poker Showdown" host Phil Gordon took down the final table at a million dollar tournament sponsored by Full Tilt Poker yesterday.
The live event, broadcast on Fox Sports from the Red Rock Casino in Las Vegas, had a power-packed Full Tilt Poker roster. The seven-person table included pros Erick Lindgren, Allen Cunningham, John Juanda, Roland De Wolfe, Toto Leonidas and an online qualifier from Sweden.
It took about four hours for Gordon to finally outlast De Wolfe heads-up for the $600,000 first prize.
De Wolfe took home $250,000 for second, with the rest taking home $25,000 for their efforts.
