PartyPoker.com stepping up with new promo
By Erin Warner
If a 12-step program sounds like a lot of work and not much fun, check out PartyPoker.com, which is halving the number of steps and doubling the fun with its latest promotion.
The PartyPoker.com Steps Challenge is a must for players of all levels who enjoy sit-and-go events and want a shot at $2,000 in prize money.
To participate, buy in to any of the tournament's six levels and place first, second or third to move on to the next step.
But you don't necessarily have to win to advance in the challenge: Players who finish later in the standings can compete again at the same or lower step to move up.
Each of the six levels consists of a 10-handed No-Limit sit-and-go tournament, with games at each level available 24 hours a day. Games begin once 10 players are seated.
Buy-ins are $3 for Step 1, $10 for Step 2, $30 for Step 3, $70 for Step 4, $170 for Step 5 and $500 for Step 6. If a player works his way from Step 1 to a first-ranked finish at Step 6, he turns his $3 ante into $2,000 in prize money.
