The Sea
It's never too early to plan a cruise to Dubrovnik

The first five editions of the PartyPoker.com Million have been wildly successful events, drawing star-studded casts of poker pros and celebrities to a variety of exotic offshore locales.

One place they've never been, however: The Mediterranean.

So changing up the scenery a bit for edition VI, the PartyPoker.com Million will set sail May 3, 2008, from Venice, Italy and cruise the temperate shores of the most famous sea in the world.

On the eight-day docket: a slew of exotic ports, including Bari, Italy, Olympia and Katakolon in Greece, Izmir and Istanbul in Turkey and Dubrovnik, Croatia.

While the final table may be a long way away, PartyPoker.com has opened the qualifying up already, with an extensive line-up of daily and weekly satellites underway from as little as $1.

Final prize packages will be worth $12,000 and will include the $8,200 buy-in for the No-Limit Texas Hold'em main event, $2,700 for accommodation and the cruise and $1,100 in spending money.

One major qualifier is scheduled already for August - a $600+$40 No-Limit Hold'em event is set for Aug. 11 at 3:25 p.m. (EDT) and will offer up at least eight guaranteed packages.
