PartyPoker.com courts Scandinavian players

PartyPoker.com is reaching out to its customers in northern Europe with chances for 12 seats at this year's Scandinavian Poker Masters.
The package up for grabs is valued at $11,000, including an $8,300 buy-in to one of two televised semi-finals, $1,800 for hotel accommodation and $900 in cash for travel expenses.
But those numbers are dwarfed by the potential winnings at the tournament: A PartyPoker.com qualifier walked away from the final table of last year's Masters $70,000 richer.
Two six-player semi-finals are scheduled to go down in London August 13 to 17, where players will butt heads with fellow Scandinavians. The tournament winners also get to take on Scandi poker superstars in an exclusive cash game that will see PartyPoker.com front the $50,000 buy-in.
The remaining 10 semi-finalists compete for a portion of $20,000 in a runners-up freeroll event.
Players can qualify for free in daily PartyPoker.com freerolls, buy in to daily qualifiers to play for weekly satellite seats or buy in to one of the site's nine weekly satellites and compete for guaranteed seats.
