PartyPoker offers seats for WPT Fallsview

Clements may be the reigning WPT NACP champ, but PartyPoker is hoping one of its players will topple him.

An estimated 600 players are expected to head to the Fallsview Casino Resort in Niagara Falls in October for the World Poker Tour North American Poker Championship. Some of those players will be going for free courtesy of PartyPoker.
PartyPoker is currently running daily qualifiers for as little as $1 that allow players to win their way into the weekly $650+$40 satellite, where they have a shot at a WPT prize package for the NAPC.
The weekly event takes place on Sundays at 5:05 ET and guarantees two prize packages. The packages are worth $13,000, and include the $10,300 buy-in for the WPT event plus seven nights' accommodation at the Fallsview Casino Resort and spending money.
"Everybody gushes about the Fallsview Casino and the breathtaking location," said a PartyPoker spokesman. "Combine this with the excitement of a world class field and top notch prize pool - it makes the WPT North American Poker Championships a fantastic proposition!"
Built on a cliff overlooking the world-famous Horseshoe Falls, Fallsview Casino Resort is regarded as the largest and most elegant gaming resort facility in Canada and a crown jewel in Niagara's array of wonders.
The resort features a casino with more than 3,000 slot machines and 142 gaming tables, a 374-room luxury hotel, a full-service spa and a fitness centre.
But what poker players will most be interested in at the Fallsview Casino Resort in October is the action at the poker tables that the WPT event will bring Oct. 10-16.
Last year's North American Poker Championship saw a star-studded final table battling for a more than $1 million top prize.
With 504 entrants in 2007, the prize pool reached more than $4.8 million, and Barry Greenstein, Jonathan Little, David Cloutier, Kofi Farkye, Scott Clements and Jeff Garza were all looking at big pieces of that prize at the televised final table.
In the end it was Clements muscling his way to victory during the longest final table in the history of the World Poker Tour.
