Paradise Poker pros, prepare for takedown
By Erin Warner
This Monday, Paradise Poker players will want to look across the felt and say - or at least type in the chat box - 'boon8 and lollo, you're going down.' To kick off every work week, the poker room is hosting its Monday Night Takedown.
The event sees a bounty on the heads of members of the site's successful Hit Squad. If a player eliminates poker millionaires such as Lee Biddulph (boon8) and Ingrid Nyman (lollo), he cashes in.
Since its inception, Paradise Poker has already doubled the bounties, which range from $150 to $50 to send some of Europe's most notable online players to the rail.
Qualifiers are available for $1, with a daily event at 9:30 p.m. (GMT) by registering for the Monday Night Takedown in the tournament section. Re-buys are offered until the first break, where add-ons will also be available.
Place in the top 10 of any of the event's qualifiers and advance to the final, which takes place each Monday at 9:30 p.m. (GMT).
One seat is awarded for every $25 prize pool. The direct buy-in is priced at $25 and added to the prize pool - a guaranteed $2,000, which the poker room occasionally doubles.
Players nederlands from Eastbourne, U,K.; barthez18 from Wertheim, Germany; xENERGYx from Fetsund, Norway; and pmarko11 from Hungary are the winners from the previous four weeks.
