Pacific Poker offers new daily guaranteed
By Sarah Polson
There's more money to be had at Pacific Poker now that the site has added a daily guaranteed event to its poker lineup.
On Monday through Saturday each week, players can compete for a $20,000 guaranteed prize pool. On Sundays, the guarantee is upped to $80,000.
The tournaments play at 8:30 p.m. (GMT), with 15-minute blinds and $2,500 in starting chips.
The Monday-Wednesday-Friday tournaments have a $35+$3 buy-in, and the Tuesday-Thursday-Saturday events have a $50+$5 buy-in.
The stakes are raised for the $80,000 guaranteed event on Sundays. Players will need to shell out $120+$12 to take their shot at the prize pool.
There are also low-cost satellites to win your way into the guaranteed tournaments as well as freerolls that can get you in.
Pacific Poker also has plenty of other guaranteed prize pool events players can take part in all throughout the day. Ranging from a $50 guaranteed event for those looking for a micro-stakes buy-in of 10¢ to a $5,000 guaranteed event for $15+$1.50, there's a comfortable level for all players at the site.
The poker site has even more to offer PokerListings.com players. Not only will poker players who've signed up at Pacific Poker through PokerListings.com be eligible for a 50% deposit bonus of up to $150, they could end up qualifying for the monthly $5,000 cash freerolls, or the private $12,000 European Poker Tour San Remo Satellite.
To qualify for the monthly freerolls, players who've signed up at the poker site through PokerListings.com will just need to earn 20 comp points during the qualifying period.
The next freeroll is scheduled for Jan. 20, and the qualifying period ends Jan. 14. Players who miss that deadline can work on racking up the points from Jan. 11 to Feb. 11 to qualify for the Feb. 17 $5,000 freeroll.
Of course, those points might be put to even better use March 8 with the private $12,000 EPT San Remo satellite. Players who signed up at Pacific Poker through PokerListings.com and who earn 40 Pacific Poker points Jan. 1-March 1 will qualify for the tournament.
The winner of the satellite will receive a $10,000 prize package to the EPT San Remo, Italy, which includes buy-in plus expenses. There will also be $2,000 spread from second place on down.
