Pacific Poker adds iDeal payment option

Finding an online poker site to play on is pretty easy these days, but it's not always so easy to find ways to make a deposit on those sites. Pacific Poker is helping make that process painless by adding iDeal to its list of payment methods.

iDeal is powered by Moneybookers and offers players around the world one more option for depositing. The new alternative will specifically make it easier for poker players in the Netherlands to add money to their poker account.

"We recently made available the payment method iDeal, which is the best and most ideal payment method in Holland," said a Pacific Poker representative.

Making a deposit using iDeal is a fairly straightforward process, according to Pacific Poker's parent company, 888.com.

The first step is to log in to the cashier of your poker account at Pacific Poker. Choose "iDeal powered by Moneybookers" as a payment method. Enter in the amount you want to deposit and click on the submit button.

If you're already got a Moneybookers account, you can log into that account and continue with the deposit process.

However, if you don't have a Moneybookers account, you will be asked to select iDeal as a payment type and to provide your bank, date of birth and e-mail address. Once you've done that, click on "Review Payment and Continue."

In the next screen, you will be asked to confirm your password and accept the Moneybookers terms and conditions. Once you click on "Confirm and Pay Now," you will be asked to once again confirm your payment.

Once you've verified the payment the final time, you will be redirected to the login page of the bank you selected earlier in the process.

On the iDeal bank page that is relevant to you, you will need to confirm the payment instructions. Next you will be redirected to the Moneybookers Web site, where you will be able to return to the Pacific Poker cashier, and the payment will be credited to your bankroll.

After that initial setup to use iDeal, the process to add money to your account will be much easier. You can use the Moneybookers interface to put money into your account, or you can still go through the Pacific Poker cashier if you prefer the Moneybookers payment option to the iDeal one.

Signing up and depositing at Pacific Poker can be an ideal situation for poker players in more than one sense, if they sign up through a PokerListings.com link. Then they'll also have access to the best deposit bonus available and exclusive promotions.
