Review

Doyle Brunson's newest book since Super/System 2 is quite obviously written for beginners, something any online poker player with minimal experience would immediately notice. For example, it features descriptions on how to download and install a poker client (DoylesRoom.com) and outlines some basic rules that most online poker sites provide on their homepage.

In addition, the strategy section of the book doesn't dig deep enough, and what it does cover is not sufficient. Brunson does, however, give tips, detail basic strategies, and describe how a player should adjust from Internet poker to live poker play.

This book is not a top priority for beginners as compared to other poker books on the market. Indeed, we would suggest many other poker books to a beginner before we would recommend this one, as it basically reads like an advertisement for DoylesRoom.com with some strategies thrown in for good measure.

It reads 192 pages in total.
