Oktoberfest returns to PKR.com
Oktoberfest comes just one month a year and online poker room PKR.com is celebrating by treating players to 12 events with $270,000 in guaranteed prizes to be won.
This marks the second year that PKR.com has held a poker-themed Oktoberfest on the site and if the first edition was any indication, there will be some tremendous value for poker players with varying bankrolls.
"We're really excited as this will make our seventh festival on PKR.com," said PKR Cardroom Manager Neil Wright. "Our players really enjoy them and they keep getting bigger and better as a result. We also try to make sure we cater to everyone, which is reflected in the wide range of events and affordable buy-ins."
PKR.com will also be offering a variety of games including Hold'em, Omaha, six-max and deep stack. The 12 days of poker will culminate with the PKR Masters, which is expected to pay out the biggest guaranteed sum in PKR.com history.
Satellites are already running on PKR.com and will run throughout the series, with new lotteries giving players the chance to qualify for as little as $3. In addition the final tables of several events are set to be televised as is now customary for PKR.com, so players have a shot at their own 15 minutes of fame.
PKR.com is one of the most popular online poker rooms in the world with its exclusive Emote control technology and intense 3-D graphics. To learn more about the site, check out PokerListings' exclusive room review.
