NPL World Cup schedule set
By Erik Sylven
The National Poker League (NPL) has released its 2007 Global Circuit Tour schedule. The poker journey starts in Paris in May and ends in Las Vegas in November.
In total, four NPL "World Cup" tournaments will be played, starting off in Paris on May 13 at the Cercle Gallion Casino with the $4,000 Paris Open.
Exact dates and other details for the three remaining tournaments have not been released, but the NPL tour will continue with the U.K. Open in August, the Asia open in October and the Vegas Open in November.
All NPL World Cup tournaments will be filmed, and six one-hour episodes will be produced from each one.
The NPL shows will be broadcast in high definition on the INDH network and in standard definition through syndication. The programs can be seen in a number of countries, including the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, France, Italy and Germany.
