Wrath of Dwan: durrrr explodes for $850k

Durrrr: Even the biggest ballers have to be stoked about an $850k day.
Struggling a bit in the last few months and on the losing end of some big sessions, it was only a matter of time before Tom "durrrr" Dwan went off for a huge score.
That day was definitely yesterday, and even Dwan - a guy used to big swings and big wins - must have been pleasantly surprised with the final tally, as he hauled in a sweet $850k from an epic 14-hour session across both Full Tilt and PokerStars.
It was such a huge score that even after being over $1 million in the hole so far in cash games at Full Tilt in '08, durrrr is almost back in the black for the year.
"Almost," of course, meaning still $292k down, according to the MarketPulse Top Online Losses list. But still. That's only like another 15 minutes of running good at Dwan's stakes.
He may even get the opportunity, as, after a long stretch of dried-up high-stakes NL Hold'em games, the lid finally came off yesterday and plenty of the big guns came out to play - drawn in particular by a few players considered to be big donators sitting down at the e-felt.
Just how appealing were the donators? The waiting list even hit 10 or 12 players deep at times for the big $200/$400 six-max game at Tilt, with virtually all of the A-list players trying to get a piece of the feeding frenzy.
In the end almost all of them did, including Hac "trex313" Dang, Chris "Genius28" Lee, jimmie23, howisitfeellike, David Benyamine, Phil "OMGClayAiken" Galfond and more, but it was durrrr who ran away from the pack in both his Pot-Limit Omaha and No-Limit Hold'em sessions.
Nobody, it seemed, escaped his wrath, but some definitely took it worse than others, including major victims patatino, Phil Ivey, Ilari "Ziigmund" Sahamies and Ariel "DaEvils" Schneller, who all chipped in substantially to his profits.
Highlights in particular: durrrr taking Ivey for two buy-ins ($200k) in just 15 hands of heads-up PLO and the hand below - biggest online this week - for $267k, when he cracked patatino's aces with 7-3 suited, flopping two pair and filling up on the turn.
Check out hand histories for the two biggest pots against Ivey, for $186k and $173k respectively, here and here. And for more big hands from yesterday's sessions, jump to the MarkePulse Biggest Pots section.
