RailHeaven rumbles; OMG KO'd in $315k pot

The tournament circuit is back in full swing. Live cash games abound. The WCOOP is booming. Still, the big action junkies just can't fight the pull of RailHeaven.

Adding another breath to the resuscitation of high-stakes online Hold'em, another epic session at Full Tilt's marquee $500/$1,000 No-Limit Hold'em table went down last night, with the six available seats stuffed until the early hours of this morning with the game's best.

Or the game's worst, as the case may be. There's nothing like a big fish to draw the sharks into the water, and perhaps that was the story last night as reputed high-stakes softie patatino made an appearance, looking for some action.

And action he got. Hac "trex313" Dang, Phil "OMGClayAiken" Galfond, Phil Ivey, Tom "durrrr" Dwan, John Juanda, David "raptor" Benefield, Patrik Antonius, David Benyamine and more all took a crack at a big payday, compliments of the supposed patsy, but unfortunately for most, there was a slight hitch in the plans.

The hitch: patatino ran like a champ, ultimately getting the best of them all, save durrrr and Ivey, and walking away with close to $500k. The surprise loser? Looked to be Galfond, who dropped an estimated $600k according to observers.

Needless to say, the session dominates the MarketPulse biggest online pots list for today, with dozens of pots over $150k for the railbirds to drool over.

Unfortunately for Galfond, he was on the short end of more than a few of them, including the biggest, for $315k, at the hands of Ivey just before the session ended.
