Pennies from GusHeaven; FTP adds new table

He's the big-name TV pro all the young guns on the poker forums love to hate.

They hate on his game, they hate on his career and they've been known to suggest his "aggressive" style is simply terrible poker.

Gus Hansen's career earnings ($5.9 million in tournament cashes; who knows how much in cash game profit), of course, say otherwise.

Well, now's the time for the haters to step up and prove something with the introduction of the new six-max $500/$1,000 No-Limit Hold'em "GusHeaven" table at Full Tilt Poker, with a seat reserved at all times for the Great Dane.

FTP clearly knows a hit when it sees one, as its first foray into six-max $500/$1,000 NLHE - "RailHeaven" - has been off the hook with action over the last couple of months.

Pots have been bigger than ever, railbird chatter has been through the roof, and the game's biggest names - Phil Ivey, David Benyamine, Tom "durrrr" Dwan, Patrik Antonius (who now has a reserved seat at RailHeaven also) - have made it an almost-daily ritual to drop in and toss a few hundred thousand dollars around.

So two tables it is now, with the best part being there's plenty of room for the two reserved-seaters to share the action.

Such was the case early this morning, as Gus was nowhere to be seen and GusHeaven turned into a heads-up haven for Dwan and Benyamine, with the end result of those two getting together being the biggest pot online so far today.

Watch the big pot in the PL.com Hand Replayer here or see the text version below, as tracked by the PL.com MarketPulse software.
