New Year freezeout at Mansion Poker

Mansion Poker players can ring in the new year with a $20,080 Happy New Year Freezeout tournament Jan 2 at 7 p.m. (GMT).

"There's never been a better way to wipe away the winter blues, and with New Year's Eve done and dusted for another year, this micro-limit buy-in event is the perfect remedy for one too many 'Auld Lang Syne's,'" said Mansion Poker in a press release.

The tournament will cost just $1+10¢ to enter and will have a guaranteed $20,080 prize pool. Players will start out with $3,000 in chips.

The tournament will also have 15-minute blinds, giving it a nice, slow structure.

"Players looking for an excuse to squirrel away indoors for a few hours should indulge their passion for online poker with the $10,080 Happy New Year Freezeout tournament," said Mansion Poker.

Any player with a real money account is eligible to enter the tournament.

This is just one of various special promotions for Mansion Poker players. The poker site has also offered tournaments that hand out prize packages to live poker tournaments such as the World Series of Poker and the upcoming Aussie Millions.
