New Year brings new Sunday Million winner

As the year counted down Sunday night so did the pool of players at PokerStars.com where dim--tix eventually became the Sunday Million winner. The American player won $232,845 to kick off 2007.

The quarterly $1,050 buy-in drew more than 1,000 New Year revelers to the poker site on New Year's Eve to compete in the Sunday Millions.

Dim--tix managed to best them all without making any deals to split the pot at the final table. The final table included six other U.S. players as well as one from Sweden and one from Norway.

Heads-up came down to dim--tix and Swede crazyButcher, who received more than $120,000 for his second place finish in the Texas Hold'em event.
