New poker television show coming to U.K. television in 2007

All In Sports, formerly known as The Poker Channel, will be bringing another game of high-stakes poker to television screens in the U.K. next year with the "Million Dollar Cash Game."

"Million Dollar Cash Game" will feature professional poker players as they play a high-stakes cash game at the Fifty Casino in London. The game will take place Sept. 12, and the show will air on Sky Sports in January 2007 and on All In Sports in May 2007.

This will be Europe's biggest ever game of high-stakes poker with players staking a minimum of $100,000 to play. Some of the poker pros expected to participate are Phil Ivey, Gus Hansen, Howard Lederer, Erik Seidel, Jennifer Harman, John Juanda, Mike Matusow, Erik Lindgren, Chris Ferguson, Marc Goodwin, and Tony Guoga.

"This is a hugely exciting event featuring the biggest names in world poker and guaranteed thrilling viewing," said James Hopkins, All In Sports head of programming. "With millions of dollars being staked, this is the first high-stakes cash game to be produced and televised in Europe promising something new for poker fans."
