Nevada passes mobile gaming law

By Lianne Elias

The state of Nevada has become the first U.S. state to legalize mobile gaming. Governor Kenny Guinn is responsible for the new law, which allows the use of mobile gaming devices inside casinos.

Supported by several prominent American corporate backers whose products are already in use across Europe, the decision to legalize mobile gaming marks a historical turning point for U.S. lawmakers in the realm of U.S. gaming law.
