Limit Hold’em master Daniel Negreanu will take on rising star rUaBot in a heads-up Limit Challenge on PokerStars this weekend.

The match will take place on Saturday, May 5, starting at 2 p.m. ET. The pair will play 1,250 hands of $200/$400 Limit Hold’em. Each player will bring a bankroll of $75,000 to the tables.

rUaBot, who has yet to reveal his identity, began his poker career playing Limit hold’em and has since developed into somewhat of a specialist. He’s made thousands playing Limit Hold'em online.

"In my opinion, fixed limit is more strategic than No-Limit," he told the PokerStars blog.

"In No-Limit, you always have some guessing games like 'would he bluff here or wouldn't he?' Of course, such situations often happen in Fixed-Limit, too, but there is much more space for general strategic adaptions than in No-Limit. I think, setting up your standard game is pure math, but exploiting your opponents patterns is an art... and will always be!"

Red-Hot Negreanu Looking Forward to Limit Battle

Negreanu is no slouch when it comes to Limit poker either. Four of Negreanu’s five WSOP bracelets are in Limit or Pot-Limit Hold’em.

“My goal is not to get crushed,” joked Negreanu on Twitter.

The Team PokerStars Pro also has some experience in heads-up challenges as he was one of the few players to actually win a match against Viktor “Isildur1” Blom in the SuperStar Showdown although he was down overall against Blom.

It may also help that Negreanu is on a bit of a hot streak in 2012 with nearly $1.5 million in high roller live tournament profit. Most recently he finished second in the €25k high roller at EPT Monte Carlo for €600k.

You can view the match this Saturday by logging onto the PokerStars lobby and searching for the heads-up match in the high stakes section of the cash game tab.
