The fledgling PokerStars North American Poker Tour is going back where it came from.

While the doors to Las Vegas appear shut to the PokerStars machine for the time being, the NAPT is going back to at least two of its three original stops for a second season this year.

First up is Los Angeles, where the Bicycle Casino will play host to a $5,000 main event March 5-10.

The stop will also feature a full calendar of side events beginnning Feb. 25 with both the main and a $10k Bounty Shootout being filmed for broadcast on ESPN2 in the US, TSN in Canada and other networks globally.

Then, the NAPT returns to the Mohegan Sun in Connecticut for another $5,000 main event April 9-13.

Once again a full schedule of side events is planned and both the main event and Bounty Shootout will be filmed for broadcast.

“There will be something for everyone during NAPT Season 2,” said Team PokerStars Pro Daniel Negreanu.

“I’m also very happy to see the return of the incredibly popular Bounty Shootout events. This year the BSO format has been standardized as $10,000 buy-in double-shootout nine-handed open events capped at 81 players. These really put players to the test, and result in great television!”
