By Sarah Polson
Mr. Shhhhhh, a player from the United States, won more than $56,000 after outlasting players from around the world Tuesday to become the World Championship of Online Poker (WCOOP) Pot-Limit Omaha Hi-Lo champion.
The event brought 1,303 people to PokerStars.com to play and boosted the guaranteed prize pool from $200,000 to $390,900. The result was that for a $320 buy-in, participants were playing for a top prize of $56,080.
The final table came down to six players from the United States, one from Finland, and one from the Russian Federation. There were only eight players at the final table because of simultaneous eliminations on the bubble.
