miffy444 not miffed about ECOOP win
The European Championship of Online Poker III continues to draw thousands of players, and the series' latest event utterly smashed the guarantee.
miffy444 won $46,499 for taking down the ECOOP III Day 3 No-Limit Hold'em Turbo event yesterday. The event brought out 1,056 players on the iPoker network for some fast-paced No-Limit action.
The guaranteed prize pool was $100,000, but that was easily eclipsed as the actual prize pool was $221,900, more than twice the original guarantee. A total of 150 players cashed in the event.
The ECOOP is Europe's most popular online series and includes 14 events with a guarantee of $100,000 or more on each tournament.
The next event for ECOOP III is Pot-Limit Omaha Hi-Lo, which starts today. On Friday there will be an $800 buy-in No-Limit Hold'em event with a gigantic $350,000 guarantee.
