Absolute Poker has signed Michael "The Grinder" Mizrachi to its professional poker team, beefing up the ranks of a roster that already includes Mark Seif and Lacey Jones, among other ranked poker players.
"Absolute Poker is very excited to be working with 'The Grinder,'" said Mike Edwards, marketing manager. "He's at the top of his game and we're thrilled to give our players exposure to the skill and expert advice he can pass on to them."
With 4,737 points and more than $2 million in winnings so far this year, Michael Mizrachi is considered to be the number one ranked player in poker right now. His membership on the Absolute Poker team is expected to add depth and experience to the tournaments and games played on the site.
"I'm looking forward to playing with Absolute Poker's online players," Mizrachi said. "When I'm not playing in live events, I like to stay sharp by playing online. It's a great way to stay on top of your game."
Absolute Poker players will be given an introduction to Mizrachi right away with the site's launch of its new No-Limit $10/$25 Texas Hold'em table named "The Grinder." Players will need to register to play at the table.
There will also be tournaments announced in the future involving Mizrachi.
