Pro poker player Mike "The Mouth" Matusow beat out 113 players to take home first place and its $1 million payout at the second annual World Series of Poker Circuit (WSOPC) Tournament of Champions (TOC) event this month in Las Vegas.

"This was the best final table I've ever played," said Matusow. "To win this tournament puts me in the elite category." The final table lasted more than 11 hours and hosted the likes of Phil Hellmuth, Hoyt Corkins, Steve Dannenmann, and Tony Bloom, among others.

Held at Caesars Palace from November 6-9, the $2 million freeroll event was sponsored by Sobe Adrenaline Rush energy drink and boasted a playing field comprised of some of poker's most famous pros, as well as the 9 final table finishers from the 2005 WSOP Main Event, and other top players who qualified through WSOPC events during the 2004-2005 season.
