massil975 takes Everest Poker weekly $100K

Over 830 players squared up to the felt for this week's Everest Poker $100,000 guarantee, but when the cards settled it was Italian player massil975 walking away with the top spot and a $21,000 payday.

Building steam and becoming a real contender in the competitive Sunday guarantee market, Everest Poker's latest tourney, on May 20, clearly showed it's making a mark with players.

"With 834 players joining in this week, it's apparent that the success of our $100,000 tournaments is purely because of our dedicated players," said Jonathan May, Everest Poker's property manager.

Leading the pack this week was massil975, edging out second-place finisher matetcris from France, who took $12,000 for his efforts.
