Omaha is very similar to Hold'em, the only differences being that instead of two hole cards each player is dealt four, and players are forced to use exactly two of their hole cards together with three from the board.

In Omaha Hi-Lo, the pot is split between the best high hand and the best low hand. In order to qualify for a low hand, a player must have five unpaired cards, the highest of which must be an eight or lower. If there is no qualifying low hand the entire pot is awarded to the best high hand.
