Mansion player wins free seat to WSOP

chips and cards

By Sarah Polson

Mansion Poker is planning to send 20 players to the 2008 World Series of Poker Main Event, and one of them won his seat for absolutely nothing.

Rayman 754 received a $15 bonus offer in the mail to give Mansion Poker a try for free. He used part of that free-trial money on a $1 Turbo feeder where he won himself a ticket into the $10 Daily Final.

In the $10 Daily Final he won a ticket to the Super Satellite, where he won a $16,000 prize package that will send him to Las Vegas to play in the 2008 WSOP Main Event.

"We are really pleased to have been able to offer one of our new players such a fantastic opportunity and wish all of Team Mansion the very best of luck in Vegas," said Jon Sullivan, Mansion Poker head of poker.

Rayman 754 has also become a fan of the poker site after trying it out for free.

"I found that the actual game play and cards dealt seemed so much more realistic than the other sites I used to play on," Rayman 754 said.

"Mansion is my home now; I feel it is safe and secure and I really like the fact the hand percentages are shown when the hand goes to a showdown, it's great for the beginner to see just how far behind/far in front they are."

Since using Mansion Poker, Rayman 754 has also changed his game somewhat. He said he tries harder now and likes to think he has a very realistic view of his game.

"I will continue with my cash play, but will also try to qualify for EPT or WSOPE on Mansion Poker when the chance arrives," he said. "I'm feeling good, and I am proud to be a part of Team Mansion. My main aim is to do well in the Main Event."

Rayman 754 also doesn't plan to change up his game much for the World Series of Poker.

"I'm trying not to think about it, and I will play my usual game - no fear," he said. "If I have the cards, I will play them, no matter who is at my table."
