Main Event satellites run through Monday

The preliminary list of players in Day 1a of the World Series of Poker Main Event is out, but that doesn't mean railbirds and poker fans can't still find their way into the event. The Rio is hosting satellites to get into the $10,000 event all the way through Monday, Day 1d of the event.
Mega satellites are running for as little as $550, allowing some of the hopefuls who've flocked to Las Vegas with thoughts of poker stardom dancing in their hands a chance to get into the Main Event for much less than the normal buy-in.
The schedule is as follows:
- July 6, 1 p.m.: $1,060 buy-in 2007 WSOP ME Mega Satellite
- July 6, 4 p.m.: $550 buy-in 2007 WSOP ME Mega Satellite
- July 6, 9 p.m.: $1,060 buy-in 2007 WSOP ME Mega Satellite
- July 7, 10 a.m.: $550 buy-in 2007 WSOP ME Mega Satellite
- July 7, 1 p.m.: $1,060 buy-in 2007 WSOP ME Mega Satellite
- July 7, 4 p.m.: $550 buy-in 2007 WSOP ME Mega Satellite
- July 7, 9 p.m.: $1,060 buy-in 2007 WSOP ME Mega Satellite
- July 8, 10 a.m.: $550 buy-in 2007 WSOP ME Mega Satellite
- July 8, 1 p.m.: $1,060 buy-in 2007 WSOP ME Mega Satellite
- July 8, 4 p.m.: $550 buy-in 2007 WSOP ME Mega Satellite
- July 8, 9 p.m.: $1,060 buy-in 2007 WSOP ME Mega Satellite
- July 9, 10 a.m.: $550 buy-in 2007 WSOP ME Mega Satellite
Single-table satellites are also running continuously to get players into these Mega Satellites. There are lots of affordable options for poker enthusiasts who want a shot at the potential millions for the Main Event top prize.
With poker pros such as Josh Arieh, Doyle Brunson, Antonio Esfandiari, David Colclough, Andy Black, Liz Lieu and more sitting down to play day one, who knows who you could end up sitting next to if you win your way into the tournament in the next few days.
