Madrid Open seats still available at Titan Poker
Sixteen players have won seats in the inaugural Eurocity Poker Tour Madrid Open through Titan Poker, but the poker site still has a few chances left for players to get in the game.
There are three super-satellites to the Madrid Open left on the schedule at Titan Poker. Players can give it a shot April 13, 20 and 27 to try to win a $3,000 prize package to the event.
The prize package includes the €1,100 buy-in for the main event of the Madrid Open taking place May 9-12, plus money for flights, three nights' accommodation, two meals a day and a cocktail party.
"By the promotion's end on April 29, the goal is to send a total of at least 30 players to the tournament," said Titan Poker in a press release.
In all, 200 players are expected for the main event of the Madrid Open, and Titan Poker will be peppering the vent with players from a wide range of countries including Austria, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy and Sweden.
Kenneth Tomming, from Denmark, will be representing Titan Poker at the tables. He recently went to the European Poker Tour event in San Remo, Italy courtesy of Titan Poker, and now he hopes his skills will serve him well in Madrid.
Poker players who'd like to join Tomming and the other Titan Poker qualifiers can check out the $250+$25 super-satellites, or they can work their way into the satellites for a much smaller chunk of their bankrolls.
Titan Poker has set up a stage-based qualifying system that will allow players to win their way into the super-satellites. For as little as $1+10¢ for certain Stage 2 tournaments, poker players could find their way into the super-satellites and from there, into a Madrid Open seat.
While the Eurocity Poker Tour Madrid Open is new to the live tournament scene, Titan Poker has sent players to plenty of well-established live tournaments as well. The poker site had players at the Aussie Millions, the World Series of Poker, European Poker Tour events and more.
There are also seats being given out at Titan Poker for the upcoming World Poker Showdown in the Dominican Republic later this year.
In May, poker fans can head to Titan Poker to take on the European Championship of Online Poker as well. With 10 events on the schedule, $3.6 million in guaranteed prize pools will be up for grabs.
