Luck of the Irish with Ladbrokes players
European online poker giant Ladbrokespoker.com has started qualifiers for the Ladbrokes Irish Poker Festival in Killarney, Ireland, from Oct. 2-5.
The €550 buy-in official European-ranked event will offer a guaranteed prize pool of €250,000 and is already predicted to attract upward of 800 players.
Players can qualify every Monday at 7:30 p.m. (GMT) in the $137.50 weekly final with one package for every $1,250 in the prize pool. The package includes the main event buy-in and two nights' bed and breakfast for two people at the Gleneagle Hotel.
There are also $33 daily finals held between Tuesday and Saturday at 7:30 (GMT). Players can even qualify for those events for as little as $5.
Alternatively, players can just preregister for Ladbrokes Poker Festival on Ladbrokespoker.com by visiting the MTT section of the lobby and navigating to offline events.
Finally, players can also qualify for the poker festival in live satellites, which are held in cardrooms throughout Ireland. Over 150 seats will be won in live cardrooms so there is certainly no shortage of chances to score big. There is also a super-satellite at the location of the Ladbrokes Irish Poker Festival (Gleneagles INEC Hotel) on Oct. 2.
The festival itself will offer players much choice, with a variety of STTs, and players will be privy to the Ladbrokes Poker Lounge, which will host a games room with snooker, pool, darts and other activities. To learn more about the festival, check out the official site at www.ladbrokespoker.com.
