Low turnout for big Sunday tournaments

Bodog.com and UltimateBet's Sunday guaranteed tournaments drew relatively small crowds this weekend, with about a hundred players less than last week's popular Sunday events.

Eight-hundred and fifty-eight players competed for the $45,000 first prize in UltimateBet's $200,000 Guaranteed, as compared to last week, when 924 players participated in the tournament.

highroller48 won first place after heads-up play against aakkjj. In the final hand, the two were all-in pre-flop with highroller48 holding A-K, and aakkjj holding A-J. highroller48 made a pair of kings on the river to seal the deal.

Bodog.com's $100,000 Guaranteed also saw a drop in entrants with only 918 players. Last weekend, the number of entrants was 954. Still, this week's winner, gbmantins, had to outlast a field of 917 opponents to win the $25,000 first prize.
